“Rang” is a journey that commenced with Shilpa’s childhood dream and transforming passion into a profession. Hailing from a small district of Sriganganagar, Rajasthan, being passionate about colours and fashion, she completed her graduation and post-graduation in Textiles and Clothing which laid the foundation for her future endeavours.

Relocating to Jaipur alongside her husband, Shilpa embarked on a professional odyssey as a Textile Designer at an export house. Driven by an ambition to explore uncharted avenues within the fashion industry, she quit her job in pursuit of greater aspirations. Recognizing a niche within the fast-growing fashion market, Shilpa discerned the limited presence of Hand-Painted Clothing. She embarked on innovation, curating collections that seamlessly melded traditional craftsmanship with modern sensibilities.

With her transition from an employee to an entrepreneur, the brand "Rang" was born. She started creating new designs and customized hand-painted products which soon needed helping hands to cater for the orders. Taking this as an opportunity, she imparted free fabric painting training to underprivileged girls, fostering a skilled workforce.

Armed with dedication and perseverance, Shilpa amassed an impressive stock of hand-painted Suits and Sarees, captivating audiences at various exhibitions. She nurtured an extensive clientele with her exquisite designs.

In 2018, going further to her journey, studio "RANG", a retail store for exclusive and unique hand-painted apparel was inaugurated in Jaipur. Symbolizing her profound passion for colours and fueled by a team of proficient artisans and assistants, she embarked on a global trajectory while serving clients not only across India but across the world.
